Welcome to WWW Wednesday! hosted by Sam@Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!
The three Ws are: What are you currently reading? What have you finished reading? What will you read next?
What are you currently reading?
Michelle Maxwell has just wrecked her promising career at the Secret Service. Against her instincts, she let a presidential candidate out of her sight for the briefest moment and the man whose safety was her responsibility vanished into thin air. Sean King knows how the younger agent feels. Eight years earlier, the hard-charging Secret Service agent allowed his attention to be diverted for a split second. And the candidate he was protecting was gunned down before his eyes. Now Michelle and Sean are about to see their destinies converge.
I am enjoying it so far, it is a faster read for me, I am about 20% into this so far.
What have you finished reading?
In Chernobyl, award-winning historian Serhii Plokhy draws on recently opened archives to recreate these events in all their drama. A moment by moment account of the heroes, perpetrators, and victims of a tragedy, Chernobyl is the first full account of a gripping, unforgettable Cold War story.
This is such an interesting read for me, I have also been interested in the Chernobyl tragedy since learning about it when 11 years old.
The review will be up Friday.
What will you read next?
I am currently trying to choose between Circe by Madeline Miller for the #MythTakeReads and The Looming Tower, al-Qaeda’s road to 9/11 by Lawrence Wright. I am in a mood reading mood at the moment so these might end up changing and I may end up picking up something else.
What are you reading this week, leave the links to your WWW posts below.
I really need to get to Circe!
Also the Chernobyl story sounds really interesting!

It was extremely interesting I’ve just watched the tv show so it was nice to see how the events were written in the book compared to the show. The show was actually really accurate. I’ve been meaning to get to Circe for a long time so glad I have an excuse to read it this month

I’ve read Split Second by David Baldacci and loved Michelle! Surprisingly, I haven’t picked up the rest of the books in the series…so thanks for reminding me about it! I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Happy reading 💚
