July TBR

2020, TBR

Hey Readers…

Just thought I would do a quick post to go over what I am hoping to read/continue to read in the month of July.

The two books I am carrying over from June are:

The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J Maas

The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson

I am currently enjoying these books and think I should have The Assassin’s blade read by the end of today

The books I am planning to read in the month of July are:

The City of Brass by S.A Chakraborty

This book will be a re-read for me but I want to continue on with the rest of the series and I would prefer to do this after refreshing myself with the story and the world again.

Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson

I hope I manage to get through all these books, my reading has been drifting off in recent months so I am hoping to get back onto this month and get through some of the series I have unfinished on my shelves.

If you have read any of these let me know what you thought of them and let me know what your reading in the comments below.

-Happy reading
XOXO

2019, www wednesday

Hey Readers…

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! hosted by Sam@Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The three Ws are: What are you currently reading? What have you finished reading? What will you read next?

What are you currently reading?

61ovpuxh09l._sx328_bo1204203200_I am currently reading Hour Game by David Baldacci, which is the second book in the King and Maxwell series. I am really enjoying this series. I only actually picked this series up as my partner thought I would like them, he was correct.

This series is really good, with what I have read so far and I am interested in the characters, Maxwell and King. I have my review for the first book here.

What have you finished reading?

I have finished two books recently, one I have been trying to finish for a while and I actually loved the book.

81tboqp5v2blThe Eye of the World, this was a really good read and I do want to carry on with the series.

The review for this book should be up by the end of the month.

I rated this book 4 stars.

The second book/Graphic Novel I read was LumberJanes Vol.1, this I just picked up on a whim from the kindle app.

51hyzbhvsfl._sx323_bo1204203200_I actually enjoyed this and flew through it in a couple of hours. I will see if I can find the next one is available through Kindle Unlimited. I liked the story and I like the characters and friendships that they have in this graphic novel.

I rated this book 4 stars.

I have also tried to read through Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson. I think I will get through this eventually but I picked it up at the wrong time so I couldn’t get into the plot or the characters. This book has a lot of characters which seemed to be very confusing at the beginning when I was reading it around people.

What will you read next?

61rgrrlxtel._sx316_bo1204203200_The next book which I will be reading is The Autumn Republic by Brian McClellan. I really enjoy this series and I can’t wait to carry on with it. I have been delaying this for a while and finally went ahead and bought the final book in the Powder Mage trilogy.

What will you be reading this week? What have you recently finished?

Let me know in the comments below.

What will you read next?

I am unsure with what I will read next due to the Magical Readathon (N.E.W.T.s) taking place in August. you can find my TBR here. I do not want to start a book and not have it finished by the time that the magical readathon starts. I think I might carry on with The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule, this is a non-fiction book about the serial killer, Ted Bundy. I am 22% into this one but it is a book that can be put down and picked back up again whenever you want.
