Alicia Berenson lived a seemingly perfect life until one day six years ago.

When she shot her husband in the head five times.

Since then she hasn’t spoken a single word.

It’s time to find out why.

My Thoughts

My husband bought this book for me as he thought it was something I would like, and I have to admit I really enjoyed it.

Theo is a young psychotherapist who is trying to get a patient, Alicia Berenson, to talk about the death of her husband.

I enjoyed the plot, I thought it was intriguing and it kept me wanting to read this book. I thought the writing was ok but there could have been more character development. I enjoyed the two different timelines throughout the story.

The twist was something I didn’t see coming at all. I will check out more by Alex Michaelides in the future.
