2020, Warp up

February Wrapup

Hey Readers…

February was a good reading month for me. I managed to read 5 books which has put me 1 book behind my target. I am still on my target for my overall yearly challenge.

512SDNGI8XLThe first book is Skyward by Brandon Sanderson. I have already reviewed this book and I gave it 5 stars, I loved it. I can’t wait to pick up the second in the next few months.

516wpiluiclThe next book I finished was Harley Merlin and the Secret Coven by Bella Forrest. I did enjoy this one, I did have a few issues I mentioned in my review but I still carried on with the series in the month of February.

81ztpget2bnlThe third book I finished in February was The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. I really liked this book and I was surprised by the whole story, I went into this not knowing anything.

I don’t have my review up for this just yet, which will be a theme for the rest of the books in this wrap-up, I gave this book 4.5 stars and will pick more up from Alex Michaelides in the future.

51whc2kfg2bl The next book I finished was Watching you by Arne Dahl. I picked this up as I was given a book by my step up which she won in a giveaway, this turned out to be the second book in the series.  I liked this one, it wasn’t an absolute favourite, I ended up giving it 3 stars. I did like it, there were just a few things which I didn’t like and I didn’t gel with the characters like I wanted to. The ending did make me want to carry on so I will be picking up the second book.

512bigbalycl The last book I finished was Harley Merlin and the Mystery Twins.  I did like this one, Harley did again get on my nerves because she doesn’t listen and it makes things a lot more complicated. I did like the fact that you got a different perspective in this book from another character. I gave this book 3.5 stars and I will be reading the next one.

Still Reading…

I am still currently reading The Stand by Stephen King, I am going between audiobook and the physical book for this one and I am actually really enjoying it.

Let me know what you thought of any of these books if you have read them in the comments below.

Happy Reading
