Review – The Last Wish

Author: Andrzej Sapkowski
Pages: 287
Star Rating: ✪✪✪✪✪

Geralt of Rivia is a Witcher, a man whose magic powers and lifelong training have made him a brilliant fighter and a merciless assassin.

Yet he is no ordinary killer: he hunts the vile fiends that ravage the land and attack the innocent.

But not everything monstrous-looking is evil; not everything fair is good . . . and in every fairy tale, there is a grain of truth.

My Thoughts:

I started reading this after watching the new Netflix series and I have to admit that the TV show sticks pretty well to the story originally written by Andrzej Sapkowski.

I really like that it was told in short stories and that they flowed on nicely from each other even when jumping back slightly in time.

I loved reading the stories that I saw come to life in the Netflix series. I can’t wait to carry on with the next book Sword of Destiny.
