My thoughts
I have loved this book ever since I first read it when I was younger. I always read this book as a comfort book.
This book deals with death and grief and does it in a really good way. I think all the topics are dealt with in a sensitive but thoughtful way, which really put some understanding into these emotions, I found this really helpful when I was younger.
This book is middle grade. The main character goes from being a shy little boy to a maturer boy who has a little more understanding of life and death. He stands up to the people who do not believe in him, including family members.
I am could never un-haul this book. Ever! I will definitely be letting my future children (if I have any) read this book as it is one which has stuck by me for years.
Have you read this book? if you have what were your thoughts on it?
–Happy Reading
xoxo
