My thoughts

The main character is a young boy who believes all stories he hears are just that, they are stories.

The world-building was interesting and I think it was done really well, especially for the first book in a series. There was a lot of information about the world and the people in it.

The older main characters were keeping a major secret from Garion throughout but the reader was also kept in the dark regarding this, this was something I did find a little annoying, the information was eventually bought to light in the last pages and does set the story up for the next book.

I am still going to be purchasing the next book in this series at some point soon.

Have you read this book? If so what did you think about it?

–Happy Reading
