Welcome to WWW Wednesday! hosted by Sam@Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!
The three Ws are: What are you currently reading? What have you finished reading? What will you read next?
What are you reading?
I am currently re-reading Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. I read this sometime last year but I didn’t get around to carrying on the series. I really want to continue so decided the best way would be to re-read so that I don’t forget what is happening
I am still reading A Storm of Swords 2: Blood and Gold, I don’t really have anything to add to this. I just need to carry on reading this.
For #MythTakeReads I am still reading Daugther of the forest by Juliet Marillier. I am enjoying it more than I was at the beginning and no longer want to DNF it. It is starting to pick up. I am REALLY really really hoping it doesn’t slow back down and slope back off again. I am around 50% into this one and have until the end of the month to finish it.
What have you just finished?
As I mentioned in my Weekend updates post, I was hoping to finish uprooted by Naomi Novik, over the weekend, which I did, obviously otherwise it wouldn’t be under the what have you finished heading. I really enjoyed this book and what to read more by Naomi, as I really like her writing. A review will be coming shortly, make sure you check that out when that is up.
What will you read next?
My next read may be the second book to the Farseer trilogy, this is a series I want to continue straight away rather than waiting like I did last year. I may read a book which is on my kindle but I am unsure which I would like to read at the moment. I do have some I need to read from NetGalley.
What are you reading? Leave a link to your post below in the comments for me to check out
– Happy Reading

I really recommend Naomi Novik’s Temeraire series if you like dragons! The stories aren’t fairytale-y like Uprooted her more recent ones, but they are a lot of fun.

Thank you. I have just had a look for them for my kindle and it turns out I have the first book in this series already. That might have to be read really soon.

Fantasy isn’t a genre that I have read much of but some titles still manage to catch my eye. I really like the sound of uprooted. Just checked it out on Goodreads and the premise sounds really good so I will take a closer look at that one. Glad you enjoyed it. Have a wonderful week. Happy reading.

I can read lots of fantasy but then I tend to stop reading it for a while. Uprooted was fantasy but it wasn’t in your face. It was a really good read, I highly recommend it, look out for my review coming soon.

I hadn’t heard of the Assassin’s Apprentice, but I’m all for assassin’s. xD I’ll have to check it out! Glad to hear you enjoyed Uprooted! I need to pick that one up soon, too. Happy reading.

I have Assassin’s Apprentice on my Kindle – I’m looking forward to reading it.I don’t read a lot of fantasy but I’ve heard these books are really good. I love the Game of Thrones on TV and have read the first book – fantastic!

I have read Assassins apprentice before and I really enjoyed it, but I wanted to read it again before carrying on. GoT books are very epic/high fantasy and take me a while to get through. I hope you do enjoy Assassin’s apprentice if you read it
