The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k

Title: The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k

Author: Sarah Knight

Stars: ✪✪✪.5

This brilliant, hilarious, and practical parody of Marie Kondo’s bestseller The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up explains how to rid yourself of unwanted obligations, shame, and guilt–and give your f*cks instead to people and things that make you happy.

The easy-to-use, two-step NotSorry Method for mental decluttering will help you unleash the power of not giving a f*ck about:

Family drama
Having a “bikini body”
Co-workers’ opinions, pets, and children
And other bullsh*t! And it will free you to spend your time, energy, and money on the things that really matter. So what are you waiting for? Stop giving a f*ck and start living your best life today!

My Opinion:

I really enjoyed this refreshing, humorous look on life and how the author looks at different activities in her life. Although I am already the kind of person who won’t do something I don’t necessary think I am going to get anything out off. I will still do quite a lot of things I really don’t want to do just to please a few people. I also care way to much about what people think about me.

Reading the advice and the way Sarah has her own outlook on life, has really helped me to just sit back and think about whether some of these things are worth bothering about, especially as I am planning a wedding and its driving me up the wall.

One thing I will say about this book is the author uses the word F**k a lot and I mean a lot but looking at the name of the book its hard not to.  If this may offend you in anyway I would advise not reading this book as it is mentioned at least 5 times a page.

I wouldn’t say this book has made me want to sit in the middle of my room with sheets of paper around me making a list of everything I want to care about and what I don’t care about.

BUT  i will be thinking about things more often and asking myself if I care and if I don’t I won’t do it. Simple.

I would recommend this to people, it was funny and very thought provoking to read and is going to make me have a  new look at tasks, activities, parties and other things which I spend way to much time doing when I could be doing something worth while and save me money.
